The Nothrog Legions

A faction overview of Fire’reign, the Children of Moss, and the Legions of War.

The Nothrog Legions

The Nothrog Legions are in shambles. Once universally-feared warriors of the Accordlands, their numbers were devastated during the Great War. After this devastation, the Nothrogs were left to reevaluate their next moves. Would they rebuild and conquer again or had they learned anything from their prior campaigns of bloodshed? Currently, the Nothrog Legions have been divided into three different subfactions, Fire’reign, Children of Moss, and the Legions of War.

Fire’reign is an unholy alliance of Goblins and Giants! Goblins have focused on advancing the technology of war, not only for their own interests, but to share with the highest bidder. Their mighty machines are often powered by Hill Giants, who often serve as brainless muscles, while the Fire Giants add an element of tactical intellect to the Goblin’s maniacal schemes. Together, this alliance of cunning and brute force certainly promises trouble for any who cross its path.

The Children of Moss have forsaken the ways of machines and anything with an unnatural taint. Primarily trolls and VoTaurr, they have returned to their roots and desire to live in unison with nature, as was intended. Although the Children of Moss strive for peaceful harmony, they also feel fiercely protective of the world and its natural inhabitants, oftentimes viewing themselves as protectors of the wilds.

The Legions of War find strength from sacred Totems of primal forces, such as the Bear and Scarab. Combined with the blessings from these Totems, the Legions of War are ferocious warriors and brilliant tacticians that use both strategy and raw power in order to wage bloody campaigns against neighboring states. Ultimately, the Legions of War seek to use their might to usher in a mythical and foretold age of war, often referred to as the Omna’Hate.
